Channel letter sign
The channel letter is a 3-D graphics element with the element of graphics in terms of individual structure and illumination. Using channel letters fabrication
It consists of three parts:

This is then attached to the acrylic channel letter with a liquid bonding agent that sticks together with the trimmed cap for the face of the channel letter. Once that is done, the look is then made ready to be attached to the body of the channel letter.
Return: The channel letter and its sides are called return for the standard front-lit channel letter with the depth of 3”, 5” or 8” and they are shaped in the form of the appropriate character using the bending machine. Whereas the aluminum sheet is implemented in preparing the channel letter and is also available in different types of standard color and can also be custom printed.
They are known as the back of the LED channel letter and is made by using the tool router-cut in aluminum sheeting that is made available in the variety of thickness.
These letters are made either with an illuminating or non-illuminating sign and these days, everything is internally illuminated with LED. It all leads to significant energy cost saving with neon illuminating options.
Types of channel letter signs
It is considered as the most common type of channel letter and is either front-lit or standard channel letter. This type of channel letter has an acrylic face, trim cap, aluminum returns, and back.
If you are looking for the most unique and classy signage, then opting for a backlit channel letter is the most convenient option. Mounted away from the wall, it causes a halo effect and is also known for reverse and halo-lit channel letters. Such types of messages have a metal face, and the back is usually covered with transparent carbonate and disable the birds to build a nest inside the space of the letter.
How to mount
- Raceway mounting: It is a rectangular structure made from aluminum, and the electrical wiring supplies the power to the individual channel. The benefit of this type of mounting is, it reduces the frequency of wall penetration requiring installation.
- Direct mounting: They are directly attached to the surface of the building, using a significant pattern if non-corrosive fasteners. In this type of mounting, the source of power and electrical wiring connects to one letter to another, that is attached directly behind the wall.
